Dr. Khaled Hammoud, MD, DABR

Board Certified, American Board of Radiology

Dr. Hammoud completed his Medical Doctorate degree at Michigan State University, College of Human Medicine, East Lansing, MI. He then pursued his Medical Training at Tufts Medical Center in Boston MA with a Residency in Diagnostic Radiology and competed a Fellowship in Neuroradiology at Harvard Medical School, Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, MA. Dr. Hammoud was also a Clinical Fellow and a Neuroradiology Clinical Associate at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Hammoud has received numerous citations and awards for excellence in teaching and research and currently has medical licensure in Michigan and Massachusetts. He is also the Chief Medical Officer at Prime Radiology Consultants in Flint, MI.

I have been in the medical field for 22 years; 13 years as a medical transcriptionist and advanced into medical coding / billing where I have held a position for 9 years. I obtained my medical education at Carnegie Institute and obtained my coding / billing credentials as a CPC from the AAPC organization in 2012. I stand strong to adhere to HIPAA compliance and enjoy working at Maxim MRI as it allows me to contribute to the delivery of quality patient care.
